I am a Native American artist, wife, daughter, step-mother, grandmother, fitness instructor, art teacher, Auntie, caregiver, an entrepreneur. A wellness advocate, mentor, student, friend, adventurer and a dreamer.
I teach yoga and POUND at Trilogy Performance Sports in Princeton, KY and yoga at the Lyon County Senior Center in Eddyville, KY and the Caldwell County Senior Center in Princeton. This video was made by the Henderson County Kentucky Library, showing their amazing exhibits and programming about Native Americans. I have art and regalia included in the video. The exhibit was early 2026 and is no longer on display.
The artists who are guild members of SRTAG have been vetted and represent themselves from an Official State-Recognized Tribe. As describe in the law below, “Indian is defined as a member of a federally or officially state recognized tribe of the United States, or a certified Indian Artisan.” All artists in this guild fall under this definition and therefore are backed by the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990.

Kentucky Crafted is an adjudicated program that provides assistance to Kentucky visual and craft artists through marketing, promotional opportunities and arts business training. Visual and craft artists must jury into the program to become eligible for the Kentucky Crafted Market and other sponsored events.
The Teaching Artists Directory is an online directory of Kentucky artists who produce high quality artistic work and have the skills and competencies needed to work with teachers and students in designing and implementing arts education programs. Grants are available to have these artists come to your facility to teach.

Our ancestors inhabited the area known as "No Man's Land". Through our diverse membership, which includes about 7,500 individuals across the USA and beyond, our rich heritage and culture are celebrated.
