Paintings Inspired by
the Cherokee Language

I am an enrolled member of the Four Winds Louisiana Cherokee Confederacy. I began studying the Cherokee Language in 2005, and quickly began using the language in my art. The language, culture and history has become my passion and obsession. I have a few Cherokee inspired series I work on in tandem - my Cherokee Language Series (below,) Circle Hymn Series, and Cherokee Building Blocks. I've also began planning and experimenting with a new line of jewelry using the Cherokee Language.
