Paintings Inspired by
the Cherokee Language

I am an enrolled member of the Four Winds Louisiana Cherokee Confederacy. I began studying the Cherokee Language in 2005, and quickly began using the language in my art. The language, culture and history has become my passion and obsession. I have a few Cherokee inspired series I work on in tandem - my Cherokee Language Series (below,) Circle Hymn Series, and Cherokee Building Blocks.

Each of my Cherokee Language paintings has information on the back of it, telling the the English translation, how to pronounce it in Cherokee and any stories I want to share relating to that painting. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me to request more information.
